Oliver Curties - known to his friends as Oly, First Graduated from the APU with a 2:1 Nursing Degree in 1997 after three years of nursing Oliver decided to further his caring career by training as an Osteopath studying at the European School of Osteopathy, a four year degree course.
Oliver is interested in treating all ages but has special skills working with babies and children. Babies often suffer from birth trauma, resulting in nerve compression or tension within the head, which can lead to Colic, reflux and poor sleeping, these conditions can be easily relieved with Cranial Osteopathy. Children may have poor concentration or lack of coordination, which can be linked with structural problems and treated successfully with Osteopathy.
Oliver has positive results working with cranial osteopathy treating such conditions as; recurring inner ear infections, headaches and lack of energy.
He is also experienced in Structural Osteopathy which deals with the aches and pains of shoulders, necks and backs. But also has a great results with feet and hands.
Oliver is a member of Hayling Island Sailing Club and has been sailing all his life. He enjoys mountain biking, running and is in the process of learning to Kite Surf. Interacting with these sports has enabled him to identify with sports injuries and use his Osteopathic skills to aid recovery.
Chaperone Policy - If you would feel more comfortable with a chaperone for your treatment, please inform the Practitioner or member of staff and one can be arranged. We may require 24 hours notice to organize this. Alternatively you may prefer to bring a family member or friend to accompany you into the consultation.
Cancellation Policy - Whilst we appreciate that appointments may have to be cancelled or rearranged, we feel that it is appropriate to give at least 24 hours notice of any changes. This will leave sufficient time to offer the appointment to acute patients. Westbourne Osteopathic Clinic reserves the right to charge a late cancellation fee of up to 50% of the original fee.
